I need help with sizing!
We are ready to help you figure it out. We will be more than happy to measure any items and advise on the fit. We also have mannequins that we can adjust according to your body, to see how the item will fit YOU!

These are the recommended BODY measurements for most our garments. Please compare your own and choose your size accordingly.
How to measure: Measure your waist about where your rib cage ends. Your SMALLEST part. Usually about 2 fingers min. higher than your Belly Button.
Bust: over your boobs at the fullest part
Hips: Not your bum. Not your love handles. About 2 fingers under your belly button. Find the fullest part.
Small: Bust 85-89 cm; Waist 68-73cm; Hips 94-98cm
Medium: Bust 90-94cm; Waist 74-78 cm; Hips 99-104 cm
Large: Bust 95-100cm; Waist 79- 83cm; Hips 105- 109cm
X-Large: Bust 100-106cm; Waist 84-88cm; Hips 110-114cm
XX-Large: Bust 107-112cm; Waist 89-93cm; Hips 115-120cm
Fun Fact: The size differences between items (usually) is minimal:
So sizing up in a loose fitting dress or a dress with elastic, especially, if your size is sold out, shouldn't be an issue. We can also make dresses a size smaller upon request.
Good to know: We generally try our best to add anything specific in the description of the item, if you should know something. We may say, she tends to fit small. Or, If you are between sizes, size up.
Or she fits loose, etc.

We do our best to help, and tried putting together a guide, but all fabric and styles fit slightly different. Some are more forgiving, more stretchy etc than others. So please bear that in mind and reach out to clarify if you need help.
All items are shipped from Somerset West, within a few business days. There is also an option for express shipping, which will ship within 24hrs (weekends excluded)

I want to special order/ Custom order items, is this possible?
Sure thing! Send us an email or whatsapp with your enquiry.
We can also do special orders for bridesmaid dresses etc.
Do you have a physical store or only sell online?
We recently sold our physical store in Durbanville and will be online only for a while. Please note that the new owner will still stock some of our items and we are hoping to expand our stockists in the near future. If you need anything specific, please reach out to check on availability to prevent disappointment.

Where are your items made?
All our clothing items are designed and made locally in Cape Town as of July 2022. We use our own patterns, Elzabeth (the owner) make most of our samples and then a local CMT service makes our bulk products.

Fynbos is a small business and we do our utmost best to ensure you have a great experience with us. If, for some reason, you are unhappy with your purchase/ service, please contact us, so we can try and resolve the issue. Please be kind… there are soft-hearted girls on the other side of the phone who really only want to sell you a pretty dress and see a smile on your face.
